Fantastic little movie. The scene in the poster reminded me of my own personal battles, and it was real frustrating to watch him fall back into the trap. Not frustrating in a bad way, just my investment in the character. Also, while the movie did nothing wrong, I really hate listening to the over-dubbed version of The Sound of Silence. It ruins the song for me and I really don’t think it would’ve changed the film tonally to have the original version playing in those sequences, so it just bothers me. *shrug*

Director’s Cut. For being nearly two hours of penis jokes it was just as hilarious as anything else from Monty Python I’ve seen. I feel like that’s something most people couldn’t accomplish very well. And the opening short is something I saw as a child and hadn’t seen it for years, so seeing it again was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

This was really really great. Loved it. Hadn’t seen it yet for whatever reason, and I actually didn’t know much about it other than the famous “well do ya, punk” monologue. I tried watching Magnum Force afterward, but my interest was completely lost so I didn’t try to finish it. I think I’ll just leave this one alone as far as sequels go. Perfect all on it’s own.

Just wonderful. Can’t think of much else to say.
