Anyone have the river kwai LD PCM audio?
Anyone by any chance preserve the 1995 LD mono track for Jaws???
was anyone able to find the halloween 4 and 5 ultra stereo laserdisc audio tracks or at the very least find the laserdiscs that have that audio? if not i understand i just want to get the theatrical experience that’s all.
Unfortunately, Lasderdiscs for both films command inflated prices on Ebay for some reason.

Looking For:
Apocalypse Now Laserdisc: PCM/AC3 (Any and all Soundtracks from the myriad LD editions of AN)
Apocalypse Now is best on the 1991 release in PCM. The later 5.1 LD and DVD/BDs aren’t the same.
Is it synced?
Does anyone have the PCM tracks for the Jaws sequels? I’d like to sync them to my HD recordings.
I want the lossless English LaserDisc audio for Laputa: Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Porco Rosso from the Japanese Ghibli Ga Ippai LaserDisc box set on LPCM 1.0 48 khz/16 bit synced to the Japanese Blu-ray releases or the US Blu-ray releases.
The LaserDisc box set has the old non-Disney dubs which are not present on the Blu-ray releases.
Can someone please fulfill my request?
And I’ve loved every pixel of it.
(Clarissa Darling, Clarissa Explains It All)
You’re so right.
(Kylo Ren, Star Wars: The Force Awakens)
Would someone mind sharing the Laserdisc tracks for Indiana Jones trilogy.
Looking to sync with the Blu rays, but I cannot find them anywhere.
Thank you.
Anyone able to get the 5.1 track off the Lion King Deluxe CAV Set?
have been going back and forth on the Spanish mono tracks on SERPICO and noticed that the English mono is another 5.1 mixdown w altered sfx . Same I think goes with Marathon Man I don’t have the audio to compare for that one. Not sure why they even bothered w 5.1 mixes for these movies.
So, are the ARROW and Shout Blu-ray disc releases for THE THING fine regarding the original audio tracks?

if it was they would have changed the SFX of el capitan and his pop gun.
Does anyone mind sharing the Laserdisc PCM for The Living Daylights that was synced to the blu-ray?
Thanks

I would also love that or any Bond PCM’s as starting to lose all hope as these will ever appear again!
I honestly didn’t notice much difference with the ld audio and the dts on that one.
Has anyone ripped and synced The Shining’s original mono yet? It looks like it’s not gonna be on the new 4k (surprise surprise) and I’m hoping someone’s done it already.
Quick Question: Has someone ripped/synced Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’s laserdisc audio?
Bit of a longshot, but has anybody got a collection of laserdisc audio rips of the original Star Trek TV series? As I understand it, the mono audio on the bluray sets has some changes here and there. I’d love to have a complete set of the original mixes (synced or unsynced) from the laserdiscs. Cheers! 😃

There has been occasional discussion on the subject here and elsewhere. The best source would be the Japanese TOS season box sets, as they are the only releases that have digital audio. The stumbling block is they are usually expensive as heck. The domestic versions are analog only, and AFAIK don’t even have CX noise reduction. If any studio was wildly inconsistent with it’s use of digital audio and CX, it was Paramount.
