If memory is a problem, let me recommend Opera 3.60. Runs beautifully on a Windows 3.x platform with 4MB RAM. The install file also fits on a single floppy disk.

I don't know...
we could be arguing about vintage Star Wars action figures...do you prefer the ANH big-head Han Solo figure, or the small-head??
What do you think of the vintage POTF Han Solo in Carbonite figure? The neck was far too big for the head.

Did you know that Kenner recycled several of its Star Wars molds when Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came around? Look at the Sherwood playset...its the Endor playset. Look under Friar Tucks robes and you'll see that just about his entire body is that of the gammorrean guard...just colored different.

That's far more geeky.

Memory is not a problem, I just thought there was some sloppy programming going on on Firefox. I'll take a look at the source code later, see if I can spot any problems. Who knows? I might even contribute for another version.

No it's not. Action figures have a pratctical purpose; to look cool.

Webrowsers are something only the biggest geeks argue over.

I don't think so. In order to be a grownup and discuss toys, you would have to be a geek. Web browsers are discussed by anyone who dares use them, my mom asks me things about web browsers when she tries to use the web and she is the complete opposite of a geek, so...

There is a difference in discussing and arguing. I agree, geeks argue while regular people discuss.

Am I the only one who is worried that Starkiller spends his time looking under Friar Tuck's robes?!?!?!?

Your not pinning anything like that on me...
I've never even seen the movie, nor do I have any of the toys from it.

When I first saw commercials for the 'Sherwood' Battle Wagon, I knew they were retreading the Star Wars toys, but I read about Friar Tuck at Toys R Gus.

I'm looking for the exact article right now...Found it:

No worse than a 10-year-old with the Jabba Slave Leia action figure!

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

OK, I suppose this thread is as good a place as any to ask:

I press control alt delete on my comptuer and the task manager doesn't come up. Is there any other way to activate the task manager, and does anybody know why Control Alt Delete isn't working?

What OS??

Is your screensaver password-protected?
----(Yes, I've seen screensavers that disable certain keys on the keyboard as a security precaution)

If you've got 2000 or XP Pro, you may be able to open it through the 'Administrative Tools' folder.

You may be able to manually run it by typing...what is that filename...?taskman.exe? in the run command.

as you said Ctrl + Alt + Del will run the task manager

You can also

Right click on the task bar and then click the Task Manager option
or
Ctrl + Shift + Esc
or as starkiller suggested
Start->Run and then the command is taskmgr

to open the task manager

there maybe another way to run it as well but I can only remember those 4

oh, also, you do have administrative privilages correct? if you are just a user you may not be able to run task manager (i dont remember i never run as anything but an administrator, at least when im doing anything more than web browsing)

My comp must really be screwed up, because three of those four ways give me absolutely no response.

Using the rune Taskmgr gives me a the message that seomthing is already using that file. *Sigh* This is really starting to worry me.

Edit: THanks anyway Simon.
