I had a bus driver who would slam on the brakes if the kids were a little too rowdy. I got whiplash once from that.

If that happened nowadays, your parents would have sued and bus driver would have been fired.

I dunno. They wouldn’t have money to hire a lawyer.

What a shitty thing to say. Just because some are bad doesn’t make school teachers abominable. What the hell man

Yeah, most of mine were wonderful. I can count on one hand the ones that were genuinely “abominable.”

Yep, lots of good ones here too. I’m sure there’s some natural variability from place to place, but there’s also the matter of who left the biggest impression, i.e. aside from that one molester, how were your teachers? I can see how one or even a few particularly bad ones can make the whole lot look worse, and vice-versa.

You certainly don’t become a public school teacher because you avoid hard work, or just like the prestige and big paychecks. You may, however, not be very competent at it.

I don’t know, I had teachers tell kids to stay away from me. It kind of put me through hell. And everything I ever read about them only further convinces me to avoid public schools whenever I have children.

I’ll have you know that Moe Lester was a great teacher, actually!

Yeah and I’ve had some minorities not treat me very nice at some points in my life too. See how that works?

Public school teachers are no different than anyone else. Some are good, most of them aren’t.

People like Jones that are constantly screaming about how evil others are for doing nothing other than engaging in consensual sex acts are almost always filled with that hatred because of their own desire to engage in those acts. It’s just like how J. Edgar Hoover was very likely a homosexual even though he was constantly persecuting innocent homosexual citizens when he was the director of the FBI. Every time you see one of these subhuman scumfucks like Alex Jones that makes it one of his goals to take rights away from innocent people, just remember the blatant hypocrisy that is driving him to do it.

Handman said, separately, after receiving criticism:

I hope it’s clear that I don’t mean all of them.

No it actually wasn’t all that clear. You didn’t indicate in your post that you only meant some of them at all. What if you had said:

Handman said:

Puerto Ricans are some of the most abominable people.

Why would we assume you only meant some?

It’s such a weird thing to say. I’ve never encountered anyone who thought that public school teachers were a special kind of evil in our society.

Nazis are some of the most abominable people.

Right back at ya.

Just heard about that. I don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said about these things.

I’d starting prepping for a “lose it” scenario ASAP.

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Wasn’t it a football video game? Maybe football should be blamed.

Anyone that blames anything other than access to guns and offers “thoughts and prayers” needs to go fuck themselves.

it was a football video game tournament, but the shooter almost certainly played grand theft auto or call of duty or other games that revolve around war or violence or anything like that, so i’m sure that soon enough the NRA or one of the conservatives that protects guns at all costs is going to condemn such games instead of the gun.

What about those that are pro gun control and not only offer “thoughts and prayers”, but actually do pray for the victims?
