Let's Talk about "Fantastic Four" here.

I for One plan to check out the new film as soon as I can. not sure about getting a premere day ticket.

and IMHO it would be Very Cool if when this new film hits DVD that the Old Underground (1994, Corman Verson) also made its DVD Release. all I remember about the Un-released 1994 Verson was a Trailer.

as Ben would say: It's Clobbering Time!! (is that the right spelling?)

I just hope it doesn't suck. Batman Begins has me excited about the future of Comic Book movies, and I don't want F4 to ruin that.

In a word, OUCH. On a side note, although not perfect, The Punisher and the Blade films weren't terrible, and how could you forget the excellent job Bryan Singer did with the first 2 X-Men films?

I know; sometimes they are good, but that's when Hollywood contributes as little as possible. For every X-men, Spider-man, and Blade... we get a Spawn, Elektra, Daredevil, Batman and Robin, Superman 3 and 4.... ect.

Anybody seen previews for the Disney superhero movie "Sky High"...? Yeah, it will probably suck, but still, it could be good... possibly...

whats with you people boycotting a movie...i can understand just not seeing it but 'boycotting' i think you people just want to boycot something because it makes you cool.

I plan on seeing this movie...it cant be that bad...i may not see it in theater but ill def watch it on cable (too lazy to rent it) I actually thought the unreleased one was enjoyable even though it was a pretty bad movie

We were talking about Sky High, not Fantasic Four; And when I said "boycott" I was just parroting Jedikev... I'll probably still see F4, but with my expectations lowered.

Well, it looks like lowering my expectations paid off, because I really enjoyed the flick.

It's no Spiderman or Batman Begins, but enjoyable nonetheless.

My local theater isn't even playing this movie?!?

I should have expected no less, they are the crappiest theater I've ever seen.

It's worth seing if you can catch a matinee. Matinee tickets cost like what? Four, five dollars. It's not like Sessler has a wife and kids to take.

I really hated the movie.

The story was boring and cliche. There was nothing surprising about it at all, and I've never read a Fantastic 4 comic book.

Also, the special effects were really awful. Well, mostly just Mister Fantastic. It looked exceedingly fake everytime he would strecth.

I also thought the story moved way to fast. One second they're outside a building, the next they're in space, the next they have weird powers... And the movie did a horrible job of blending jokes with drama. At the serious parts, I just wanted to laugh and at the "funny" parts, I was bored out of my mind.

I really didn't think the Human Torch was funny, even though they tried to make him the comic relief.

Bah. Horrible movie. Especially if you haven't read any of the comic books. The writing was so terrible.
