I get really frustrated when people, primarily on the right, constantly try to act as though harassment and violence against gay and trans people is something that’s unique to Muslim countries. It’s definitely worse in those countries than in the United States, but our country is full of subhuman shit like the people plotting to terrorize this kid. I’m glad that the school seems to be taking some kind of action at least. Usually they’d just ignore it completely. Hopefully all of these terrorists will go to prison, and if not then hopefully some upstanding citizen will beat the shit out of them.
