My name is Beavis J. Butt-Head, nice to meet you.

Yeah, it’s an unfortunate abbreviation. (I though STID was funny too.) DSC makes more sense.
Where were you in '77?
I think this is a neat idea. And yes, they’re real.
Where were you in '77?
Why is there a Romulan ship behind Spock?
I hope for Commander Crusher.
The blue elephant in the room.
Why is there a Romulan ship behind Spock?
Because they already used the Enterprise.
Maybe there are Romulans in the book?
I’m trying to recall when Kirk ever squared off against an giant tentacle monster. 😛

Well, there was this one time:
Huh, that’s one I don’t remember or didn’t have. And why is Rand wearing a Devo hat?

I would have never made the connection that that was supposed to be Rand. To me, it looks like Kirk and two red shirts. I kind of dig that logo, though.

The colorist for the interiors made the same mistake, thinking her wicker basket hairdo was a cap. But that’s what happens when you hire people who never watched the show.
Back to the prime universe, baby!
Taking into consideration that DSC is prime (officially), and factoring in how unlike prime DSC was… I’d hold off on assuming just about anything outside the fact that Patrick Stewart will possibly be involved in some capacity in a series tied to the cross-media ‘Star Trek’ franchise, and perhaps that ‘some capacity’ will involve him playing a character named ‘Picard’.
We’ve yet to see CBS do anything right with their ‘new’ take on Trek, so no reason to believe this will be anything different.
Seems doubtful I will ever see this show.
I pay a large cable bill for sports, HBO, and bunch of other shit already. I pay for Netflix for movies, tv shows, and a bunch of other shit already. I have Amazon Prime so I get a bunch of shit there.
Why would I pay for yet another streaming service just to watch one show?
Hard pass.
I imagine there would be a physical media release eventually?
Where were you in '77?
There is for Discovery coming this November.
.
I imagine there would be a physical media release eventually?
I reserve physical media purchases for things I’ve already seen and know I like, or perhaps something I feel I’m extremely likely to enjoy. I don’t have enough faith in any franchise beginning with “Star” at this point to blind-buy media.
MTFBWY…A

Do you blind buy any media though? Not many do.
Purchasing The Amazing Spider-Man certainly taught me to never blind buy anything ever again.
Pity there isn’t some sort of video store one can rent physical media from these days. 😉

LOL. I actually purchased that copy of TASM from a video store that was going out of business.

I don’t know what you’re talking about.
Hell there is even redbox at Walmarts now.

Be mindful, some have never been there.
Others have been completely screwed by having a 30 minute span of time they couldn’t shop there in the middle of the night. (Although they should have warned him sooner)

Is that a recent photo?
