I’m relying on Google Translate, so I may be wrong, but these appear to be dubbed.

Prequel Trilogy DVD set

Complete Saga Blu-Ray set

Here’s an English listing for that first link. I’m afraid no such thing exists for the second.

Apparently the Prequel Trilogy DVDs don’t work in US DVD players, since they’re “configured” for Japanese ones. I don’t think you’re in the US, but it’s something to consider. They still seem to work if played on a computer, though.

I don’t think you can get the audio tracks any other way, I’m afraid.

If the idea is to make it look more realistic, then you’ve failed miserably. Stopmotion is not reliable for realistic VFX. It has a certain charm, but realism is not its strong suit. Of course it can do realism on a hollywood budget, but given no one does it anymore, I suspect it’s become a lot more efficient to do with CGI, and the results are usually just as good.

Cool. I kinda liked the green lasers though. Why did you change them?

I dunno, it sort of helps give off the Episode VII vibe I was going for (the Jakku villagers have blue guns).

True, true! It totally has that, and has the “good/bad blue/red” vibe going for it as well.

I actually had an idea like this but flipping it around by making Phasma’s blaster shoot green lasers and give it the same sound as Padmé’s TPM blaster. Such a cool sound and you never hear it again. Phasma and the other First Order weapons have such a dull “pew pew” sound in my opinion. And since Phasma’s armor is made from the chrome hull of one of Palpatine’s Nubian ships, I thought it’d make some since that she might use a Nubian blaster too.

Aw man, I like Phasma’s ‘pew pew’.

Really? I don’t hate it, just sounds off to me. I guess it might grow on me overtime.

Just for fun, I wanted to see what it would look like.

EDIT: I should probably put this in the Sequel Redux thread… haha.

I am sure this person loved hearing that he “failed miserably” at something he tried to express and share . sheesh ,some people around here have the manners of a goat.

Green is also the color of TIE fighter lasers, so the original intent may have been foreshadowing?

I will not refute criticism of my manners. I’m honest to a fault, and I know it.

You can be honest even to a fault whilst still being tactful and considerate to others.

I really think Anakin Starkiller’s criticism was… missing the entire point of charlesdavid08’s idea, but I definitely didn’t read it as mean.

Yeah, I think it was supposed to be about charm rather than realism, which is without a doubt stopmotion’s strong point. My point was just that that’s not the sort of thing I look for in SW.

i dont want a realistic, i just want the prequels feels bit like they first than the original trilogy and feels like more connected or same universe, because i like these both trilogies.

I think deep down I knew this, but just didn’t want to admit it because I disagreed. Doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense, and I won’t try to justify it, but I think that’s what happened. Sorry 'bout that.
