I tell you what though, one thing that is really bugging me about this whole thing. Everyday the newspapers are going on about it and using headlines like 'we will get through this', 'stand tall' blah blah blah. The thing is, although we haven't forgotten (and of course won't) people in London have already picked themselves up and gone back to normal. In fact, most of us were cool by the next day, or even that afternoon. There was never any doubt that I would get back on the train and go to work the next day, unless the police wouldn't let me, but they did. They said it was safe, I said OK, and so did millions of others. We are not living in fear. The newspapers are actually making it worse and giving the terrorists a small victory by painting us as victims who are having a hard time coping, and basically prolonging the whole thing. Honestly, if it wasn't for the newspapers and TV shoving it in your face, you could come to London today and never know what happened here less than a week ago. People died, it is sad, and we renember them in our hearts and we will catch the guys who done it. Enough already.
I'm not sure if I'm really making sense here, but hopefully you know what I mean.
