i dont know, but we did see that value in ep3 and ep 2 and ep 1 when he takes care of artoo and so on. we see it specifically in ep3. and tell me why would he tell the guy to stop, he doesnt care about chewie, wouldnt it be more fitting to his character of being a tyrant, if he had just alowed the guard to shoot.
