Here’s a another one.
Beautiful girl gets ogled by men then gets captured and shaved as a sort of punishment sex.
I take it back, this is a bad thread idea.

ONLY ONCE THEY’RE PUT INTO PRACTICE
I have an idea to ride into town atop a flatbed truck, dressed as a half-man/half-woman, and hose people down with Kool-Aid-filled Super Soakers while I lip-sync to Divine’s “Shoot Your Shot”.
I won’t stand in your way.
The blue elephant in the room.
I won’t stand in your way.
Good idea, since you’d be run over.

I’m a little shook up having just learned that a neighbor passed away on the fourth of July across the street and two doors down from me. Apparently a heart attack and nobody discovered this for two days. Given that they were elderly and getting around with a walker the past few years, I’m amazed they were alone at all. I really don’t know any details though. There were at least three people living in that house.
Where were you in '77?
Aww man. Sorry to hear it
I didn’t know them very well. Just exchanged pleasantries once in a while. Took out their trash once as they asked me to while I was on my way to pay the rent.
I had noticed nobody seemed to be home lately. Usually the lights are on pretty late over there. Only reason I found out something had happened was I mentioned to the handyman that a car alarm had been going off in the driveway at that house the same time for the past three nights. It keeps going for just over an hour then stops.
What’s really spooky is I thought I saw a shadowy figure sitting on the darkened porch several days ago. But it’s been pretty hot the past few weeks, and somebody sitting in the cool night air, even at nearly 2 in the morning wouldn’t be all that unusual.

Bingowings hasn’t been active since March. Four months. Wonder if he’s alright.
I hope so.

Topher Grace Is There and Back Again
"Most people know that Topher Grace made an 85-minute cut of the Star Wars prequels and Curb Your Enthusiasm, something he did to teach himself film editing. While the latter is available online, the former has only been shown privately. Well, we can now add a third Topher Grace edit to that list: The Hobbit.
As IndieWire reports, the actor has taken it upon himself to edit down the 8-hour trilogy into a neat and tidy 2-hour film. Why did he do it? After playing David Duke in Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, he needed something to decompress. “It’s like doing woodwork in my garage,” Grace says. There’s already a movement on Twitter to get it released via the hashtag #ReleaseTheGraceCut.
You can read more of his interview at Indiewire."

“Get over violence, madness and death? What else is there?”
Also known as Mr. Liquid Jungle.
That could be interesting.

2 hours, huh? The personal cut I’ve been working on off and on over the years is stuck at 3 and a half, and I’m still trying to get it shorter while still feeling like a proper film…
I didn’t watch the next two movies because I found the first one really dull and boring and another five and a half hours was too much for me.

That was probably the best decision.
Probably?

Yeah. Some people like those movies. Some.
I did enjoy the Maple Films 3-in-1, however.

Too long for me. I’m aiming to make a 3hr “theatrical cut” and a sub-4-hour “extended cut” out of the trilogy for myself.
Spence’s is good, and the length I want for my EC, but I disagree with some of the cuts and retentions he made.
I’ve only seen the first twenty minutes of the first one. It was awful, couldn’t take it.
Once you get past the “prologue” and old Bilbo/Frodo scenes, the whole beginning in Bag End is quite good, if overlong.
But that’s, like, 30 minutes in when it should be the actual start of the movie, so…
I really hated the concept of taking a book that at most should have been a two-hour movie and turning it into three two-and-a-half hour behemoths.

My wife and I enjoy the Hobbit Spence Edit. I haven’t ever watched the third theatrical movie because the second film so absurdly, and at length, deviated from the original story.
I wish Kerr would rerelease his LOTR “book-cut” edits in HD.
chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.
