I guess I agree with him too in that I don’t want underage children to be recorded in the act of sexual activity and then broadcast to the world via network television, but that’s not happening. That’s obviously not happening. That would be hideously illegal. This entire issue isn’t compatible with reality.

I backed a kickstarter for a comic by the guy that owns the local comic stores nearest me. I’ve enjoyed his past work and he’s a nice guy so I wanted to support him. What I didn’t pay attention to when I first placed my order was the co-publisher, which was another local press that I hadn’t heard much of. Turns out they’re firmly in the alt-right comicsgate camp.

I’ve never been one to get pimples. I was fortunate enough to just skip right over that part of adolescence. But every once in awhile I get a random zit.
Today it’s on my eyelid. Under the lashes. So basically right on top of my eye. And I don’t know what to do about it.

we shouldn’t consider, what is going to offend people’s sensibilities when we try to tell a compelling story.
I quite strongly disagree. Gratuitousness regarding profanity, sexual promiscuity, or nudity doesn’t add anything to the story. Often it detracts from focus on plot.

It’s called a stye. Gently wash your eyes out with Johnson’s Baby Shampoo. I used to get these a lot. Now during the summer when I’m outside and sweat more often, I do this once a week or so and I get them less often.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

I had a stye several years ago, and a hot compress helped. I didn’t use a warm compress; I microwaved a wet washcloth until it was just slighty less than unbearable against my skin. I used a dry washcloth to hold the wet one.
The stye went away after a few days after I started regularly doing that.
