The list is at home but for now I'll post a few of the ones I can remember:

Stop the doors moving behind Chewbacca before they're supposed to.
Reframe the shot of the Wampa's arm because you can see the head and arm of the puppeteer (it's usually frame out by TV anyway but it needs fixing).
Possibly fix the window on Cloud City. It's a lot of work and there's enough cutting back and forth that it's not a completely obvious problem (you can almost believe they turn 90 degrees at the end of the corridor).
Put Boba Fett's voice back (an absolute must).
Possibly do something to the matte painting of the weather vane, like turning it into a 3D model and add some 3D movement. Fix various flashes of light that reveal the borders of the matte paintings.
Take out "Prepare my Star Destroyer..." etc.
Re-edit the Emperor scene so it's closer to the OT, but keeping Ian McDiarmid.
When Luke lightsabres the hatch open on the AT-AT, it's always looked a bit weird, as if his lightsabre passes through part of the body of the machine without damaging it.
Align R2's text on the X-Wing's display so it doesn't float around with respect to the display screen.

Impressive........Most impressive.....I would have merely put boba fett's correct voice back in and maybe changed the contrast a bit to correct the lightsabers they fouled up. of course the vader and emperor's extended lines would be shortened to.

i have one more problem with the esb dvd and it may sound minor, but it still gets to me. The emperor scene looks clearly thrown together with no real regard for making the emperor look like anything more than a bloated clown. We see him in RotJ and he's gaunt disgusting features stand out from withing his dark hood. but in esb, the hood is just laying on his head in a way that reall isn't covering his ugly face as well.

that neck of his just disturbs me and not in a good way. Maybe the two can be blended together somehow and the exposed neck of an older Ian can be erased...? Unfortunately there's nothing anyone can do about Ian's slightly less than sinister emperor of the galaxy delivery.... *sigh*. but these are only minor annoyances.

Great work darth Editous. Amazing how one man can make a difference to what many could not. It's mindboggling.

Yeah, the new ESB Emperor is crap, and I'm not just saying it because I'm a traditioanlist or anything like that, it just looks lame. I also think the new hologram is too clear and modern looking. Any way of merging a shot of the Emperor from ROTJ with the mouth of the new one and then editing it so the dialogue is as close to the original as possible?
Difficult and complicated I'm sure and, while I know I could do a good job of it on a single frame in photoshop, I don't know how feasible it is with a moving image.
Or maybe just paint the hood to cover his eyes like it does in Jedi? That could work and would probably be easier. And cover the turtle-like neck with shadow.
I would rather see this fixed properly than some window in cloud city.

i would love SOMEONE to send me a copy of the edit! i made the pyramid/tree/whatever for ADM's saga edit and would love to get this one as well. i don't have much to trade but would happily send blanks & postage, or pay the disc forward to others looking for it.

it looks like this is a very rare release,maybe only certain people are allowed to watch,i have been private messaging people,emailing and everyone i contact either says they will send a copy,and DONT,or they dont reply at all,or these people are looking for it as well.
so good luck finding it,hell Rikter doesnt even have a copy

No, no one has an NSTC copy, I'm sure someone has an NTSC copy though.

aDigitalMan's edit of ESB did a pretty good job with the Emperor scene. Same dialog as the original, just has the new Emps instead! Looks good to me!

My one change I would love to see fixed, and I don't know if this is possible, is when the two Tie fighters colide with each other in the asteroid chase scene. It just looks so fake, and was surprised that it wasn't fixed for the official DVD release.

Oh, and if anyone would like to send me a lovely copy of DE ANH edit, I would be most grateful.
It seems that I'm the only person left in the UK who hasn't seen it.

I have an NTSC copy of DE's edit. I'll mail a copy to the first person to PM about it on the condition that they help someone else out here with getting a copy.

I don't mean to be rude at all, but I don't have many DVDs and not much money to buy more, so hopefully who ever gets this will be able to distribute this better than I.

DarthAstuart and Bomma tied! well, I guess I will send two copies, one to each of you and hopefully both of you will be able to hook up others on the board. There is one problem with the disk that I have. During the scene where Obi-Wan is fiddling with the tractor beam, the DVD messes up for a second. That was the only problem I saw, it may have been a one time thing but I don't know since I have only watched it once.

So, hold on for a bit more guys and I should be sending this disk out to you this week.

Kev, I know you're an Ian McD fan, but the new ESB Emperor, and for the most part teh ROTS Emperor is just no good - ROTJ Emperor is fantastic, but he's just not the same in these new ones.

I'm thinking now that I'll wait until the November releases, just in case George has done anything new to them, like fix the ESB window.

If he does anything to ANH I'm going to be annoyed...

I don't think there will be any changes to episodes 4-6 in November. I think a 6 part boxset will come out eventually, with all new changes to all 6 films in an attempt to make the saga work as one 12 hour movie, but any release of the OT in November to coincide with Ep3 will be the same versions already available.
Any more thoughts on the Emperor's phone call in ESB?

Nope. Once you strip off the extras and other languages and angles, what you're left with almost fits on a single layer anyway, so there's not much loss of quality. I think the bitrate I used was around 4750kbps. ESB is bigger/longer than ANH - I might experiment with different bitrates but I'll probably stick with single layer. I still get a slight layer pause with my new player, which I'd rather go without.
