why would rey even need a teacher though? she’s the best jedi ever and she’s only known the force for about a week. no training was required so far, i don’t see why we’d change things now.
Rey for the most part is a poorly written character. More when it comes to TFA, since TLJ gave her an emotional conflict but the real issue is her lack of need for any actual jedi training.
