Pointless Observation - ROTS dialogue

In Revenge of the Sith, during the first dream sequence, I’m almost positive that Padme cried, “Help me, Hayden” rather then “Anakin.”

Is it just me, or did anyone else think so?

It's you. And no, Mark Hammil didn't yell our "Carrie!" at the end of ANH.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Ooh, a laserdisc. The Cheat's playin' something on a laserdisc.
Everything is better on a laserdisc. Whatever happened to the laserdisc? Laserdisc!

"Yes he did."

And I'm the Virgin Mary.
VADER: Let me look on you with my own eyes...

LUKE: Dad, where are your eyebrows?

Nice to meet you. Perhaps you can explain Virgin Birth a bit better so that Lucas will get it right next time.

OK, I just checked this particular scene in the original version of Revenge of the Sith (don't ask me how), and I'm now positive that Padme says "Hayden- help me, please..." in her dream. If anyone else can come up with a different word she was trying to say, go ahead- but it seemed very clear to me.

I don't think that Luke shouts "Carrie" at the end of SW, however. It's very indistinct and could really be anything.

He wasn't even in the scene, why would Natalie Portman say "Hayden help me?"

That's the same thing I was thinking, Ric. Of all the times I've heard of when an actor breaks character and calls another character by his/her real name, it's when the relationship between the two actors causes that break of concentration. She'd have to really be out of the moment to get Hayden and Anakin confused when he wasn't even there! Besides, the filming of the scene wasn't as hazy as it appears on the screen. Someone would have noticed and made them retake. The only time people get away with that is during a noisy crowd scene when the director can't notice.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

I know, but the Natalie Portman in the scene was real, and, even if she wasn't, her voice was. All the more reason why she would have been caught if she'd said Hayden, which is why I think she didn't. Say all you want about George Lucas, but he wouldn't have let that slide.
