Yeah, it's almost impossible to say what the original is. Even before special editions came along, George was trying to confuse us about originals, etc. But it's much harder to decipher than his latest things, so it's just something I try not to think about. Therefore, in an attempt to keep my sanity, consider everything before 1997 to be the "original".

I prefer the "don't taste very good" line myself. It's just funnier. I don't really have any opinions on the Han variations, though, as they're really not all that different. "Trust me" or "I can see a lot better." It's too minor to quibble.
