Just saw The War Of The Worlds last night. Good movie. I found it difficult to go to sleep afterwards. Spielburg did an excellent job on this film.

I don't think I'll ever forget the roar the alien ships make, or the effect of the heat rays turning people to ash in seconds. Very frightening. I surprised it didn't get an R-rating. But I must say that having the ships buried on earth years before, was a bad idea. It created an unnecessary plot hole.
