Take Benadryl about twenty minutes before going to bed.

I watch an episode of star trek every night before bed. Not because it’s boring, quite the opposite, but something about its ambiance and the way it makes you actually think and reflect while watching has a way of clearing my mind and after the episode (or two if I don’t have to wake up early) is over I’m usually relaxed and can fall asleep. The gin I drink while doing so is of course coincidental.

Sometimes, if I Trek before bed, I’ll leave the disc in for the menu ambient noise. It works well.

Why the hell doesn’t Link have a green tunic in Breath of the Wild. I wore dyed Hylian clothes in my playthrough for this reason. It just isn’t Link if he’s not green.

Because they weren’t really happy with the way it looked, apparently.

But you can get the Armor of the Wild set in BotW if you complete 120 shrines. With the exception of the Champion’s Tunic, The Wild set ties for best armor rating, with the Soldier Set and the Ancient set, and is dyeable. The Amiibo armors are neither dyeable nor as high in defense.

The first three Mission: Impossible films were only released with lossy DD 5.1 in the U.S. I can order a Scandinavian version of the trilogy, but it omits the extras, so I’d have to buy the two-disc version of III in the U.S. And I’m betting that we won’t be getting any new releases fixing this to tie in with Fallout. Sigh. First-world problems.

Or you can just admit that you can’t tell the difference between lossy and lossless audio and get on with your life.

I hate bulshit. I can tell when you’re lying or insincere. Just be upfront and tell me. I’m an adult, I can take it. I’d have more respect for you in the end.

I, um, apologize. I simply meant it largely as a joke.

I think vinyl sounds better but I don’t think it’s because of lossy vs lossless, I just think the medium inherently sounds better. It might even be LESS accurate, but it has more “pop” to it. The drums seem to kick harder, the guitars sound sharper, orchestra instruments have more fine detail, etc.

Lol I actually thought of that clip before I clicked on it.

That clip provides an excellent misconception for people to think a well cared for and maintained and reasonably played record will sound like an old dusty record that’s in poor condition. Night and day between a vinyl in good condition and a vinyl that’s not.
