One might argue there’s a crewmember fluent in Swahili aboard, but The Man Trap made it clear there wasn’t, as that’s how the salt vampire almost got our favorite communications officer.
Interesting, as this is the one time they didn’t appear as someone who was real. Did they tap into Uhura’s dreams?
