TOS has the best tone/feel of all the Trek series’, but I’m not keen on the Technicolor sets/costumes, the episodic storytelling, or the steadfast focus on Kirk/Spock/McCoy. TNG & especially DS9 did better jobs utilizing and developing their characters.

The Kirk/Spock/McCoy dynamic is the show!

I love 'em, but it would’ve been nice if there’d been some Scotty/Sulu/Uhura/etc.-centric episodes in the mix.

What about when Uhura forgot how to read?

I agree with your assessment by and large, but I really really love the technicolor sets and clothes in TOS.

It was a bit more severe than forgetting how to read!

The implications of Uhura’s mind wipe by NOMAD is probably best forgotten. Would she even be the same person with all the reeducation? 😉

The ball is bluey?
And how did they teach her Swahili before teaching her English?
