Acting as though the left is some crazy extreme side of the spectrum because of a select few extremists is a very common trend among people that are sympathetic to the right but can’t bring themselves to admit that they lean right.
What do you think is accomplished by labeling all conservative views as “alt-right”? It’s the same approach.
I don’t know. I didn’t do that so I don’t know why you’d be asking me about that. I call conservative views “right-wing” because they are. I think it’s fair to lump Trump in with the alt-right given his alliance with many of its spokesmen during the election, like Alex Jones and Bannon.

I lean right on some issues and left on others. Your inability to weigh nuance is unfortunate, but it’s what I’ve come to expect from modern liberals.
Lol. What nuance? Your version of nuance is to jump through time and redirect criticism toward Obama and the Democrats in order to ignore what’s happening now. Your opinions are obviously informed by rightwing online outlets. “Modern liberals” are not extreme in the United States. Extreme leftists aren’t even represented on the national level of our government. The closest we have is the likes of Sanders or Warren. And they’re nowhere near as extreme as I am. I actually am the big government leftist that you and the people you get your information from seem to think the entire left is composed of. Basing the entire left on the crazy protesters that disrupt right-wing events at colleges, but that you never see anywhere else, is just as bad as what you claim people like me do to the right.
