The Bizzle, you're right. Wishing death on someone just because they made movies we don't happen to like (or changed movies we did like to something we didn't like) is rather immature. And if George Lucas did die tomorrow, and someone on these boards made a crack about it, I'd be one of the first people to let him know he's acting in very bad taste, even though I'm not happy about what George has done.
Still, I don't think that anyone here seriously wishes death on George Lucas. It's possible that I'm wrong. I've only been posting here for a little over a month, but most people say things in jest that they don't mean. If a thread pops up entitled "The Plan to Kill LucASS" or something like that, then it's time to worry. For nearly a decade now, ever since things like school shootings started to pop up, making jokes about death threats, etc. have become very taboo. And since 9/11, they have really become more important. There is a point to it, but I really think that it's just a little innocent fun over here.
I think this is one of the first times I've seen anyone list death threats to anybody, either real or joking, so it's not some urgent problem. I really think the most worst Lucas-bashing anyone does here is that inane "LucASS" nickname. I'm going to kill the next person who says LucASS!

P.S. Please note the winking emoticon that clearly implies that I am just joking and, therefore, should not be banned/arrested/lynched. If some calamity does befall the next person who uses the term LucASS, Lance "Gaffer Tape" takes no responsibility.
