Regarding Magic Eye pictures, there’s one technique to see the hidden image, and it’s through crossing eyes. Basically you can use your keyboard as a reference point: stare at the keys and begin to cross your eyes until the keys kind of merge with each other, then look up at the image.

Has anybody ever made a movie that intentionally links up perfectly with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon?
If I ever made a movie, I would do that. I’d edit it to an Edgar Wright/Baby Driver level where every beat matched up with something. The catch would be that I would never tell anybody, I’d leave it a secret. Maybe put a DSotM poster in the background somewhere. Some stoner would freak the fuck out years after the movie’s been made. That’s when I’ll know I’ve made it.

I don’t know, but with the advent of home video, it’s certainly possible now. I remain amazed at how many movies do sync up with DSOTM and other albums. Actually came across someone selling legally dubious DVD’s of such syncs today. I didn’t even know there was one for The Shining.
Taking a cue from MST3K, See you on the Dark Side of Raul! I synched DSOTM to Overdrawn At The Memory Bank (uncut) and was almost freaked at how well it worked.
There was an amazing sync I once stumbled upon on youtube. Dark Side of The Cat, which synced DSOTM to the 1980’s Felix The Cat movie. That was amazing. Pity it got taken down.

I have OATMB on Laserdisc and the disc jacket framed on my wall. Now Raul Julia watches over me as I sleep.

Beast of Yucca Flats is much worse. I tried watching it uncut and almost lost the will to live! I simply could not finish it. And I enjoy many a bad movie. Coleman Francis is truly the worst filmmaker that’s ever lived.
And why the hell do all his movies have people being shot at from airplanes?

I can’t really think of any video game that really made me feel like I’m having a lot of fun that wasn’t on a Nintendo system. I feel like the whole “Video Games Are Art” thing has kind of put fun to the wayside, and that’s not really what I want from games.
