I guess the really bad American dub of Mad Max has vanished off the face of the Earth?
The DVD I watched had it as an option. I quickly avoided it in favor of the original mono.
I thought it sounded odd when I first saw it on HBO as a kid, but couldn’t put my finger on it. I had no idea that it was dubbed, because who would dub over an entire movie with English speaking actors? It’s laughable the American distributor didn’t think anybody could understand the Aussie accents.
