Jango subcontracts out his hits anyway, so why even risk your template being seen on Coruscant when you need new genetic material from them every so often? I presume that’s why he has an apartment on Kamino, because there’s no other reason to have a residence there unless it’s to keep Boba out of harm’s way. Take your clone kid to work day didn’t work out too well later in the movie.
