I am exploring an ever BETTER box for my despecialized box set. Not the bonus stuff like the mini-posters and mini lobby cards, but the individual bluray cases and the box itself.

After some trial and error, I think Star Wars Despecialized box set 2.0 is almost ready. But before I tackle that, I thought I’d try my hand at another film series…

INDIANA JONES

Here’s the video that inspired me:

Using that video as a guide, I started building my Indy box. Here are the results. Think it came out pretty good… I just need to find some glossy sticker paper so the cover inks look more vibrant. Materials list and download links coming soon. I will not be posting a tutorial on how to build the box; the video above should be enough.

Those covers are so jaw droppingly beautiful. Is there any chance that you can upload hi-resolution scans of the Indy covers to fit Criterion Blu-Ray cases?

Is there any possible way of buying the Despecialized blu ray box set? Not with the discs obviously because that’s illegal but just the box set on its own.

Sorry, nope. I did a limited run of V1 a couple years ago, but that was $200. The V3 would be ridiculously expensive if I ever decided to do it.

I’m a big fan of your work. I’m not an arts and craft person, but I do love Star Wars and My editions do need a good case. I was inspired by the same video, did you use glossy sticker paper for your Indiana Jones Box Set? I used just shipping sticker paper and I regretted that choice because it is fading and the stickers are coming off. Do you have any tips?
Thank you and May the Force be with you!

PS. How do you center on the PdF or Doc page the star wars blue ray slip inserts images?

Not sure what you mean with this question?

It just occurred to me I never uploaded my Criterion style cover for the Holiday Special. A lot of folks like the colored cover, but I wanted to keep it true to the original TV Guide ad. Includes inside sleeve art & label.

Hey Ron when do we get to see some of V3, your indy project or scans of the cardboard of v1 ? I am currently working on making my own slipboard boxes and love your artwork you did for v1

I love Ghost Dog 😃

There really wasn’t a Star Wars V3. I’m pretty happy with where i left off. Though I’ll admit the work from home pandemic world of the last year has made me consider what else I can do to the set.

As for my Indy set, I though about reprinting the box simply because the original was on matte paper. Want to redo it in gloss.

Thanks for the intertest!
