Can you get divorced in Ireland yet?
For the last 23 years anyone has been able to get a divorce in Ireland.
Wow 23 years, they’re really on the leading edge of progressive culture! :p
In general they have come a long way in a short amount of time, including the removal of power that religion infringed upon everyday life there.
Maybe it could go in the Politics thread - though from a UK/Irish perspective I’d say this is more news than politics.
I think my point is that it will become a political discussion here on this forum, regardless of UK/Irish perspective.
I’ll leave it here, as it is more current affairs/news than politics - though feel free to post the links in the politics thread to kickstart a conversation on it there.
