Blu-ray Burner

Hey so I’m looking to finally burn myself some blu-rays, but first I need a burner. So, if I wanted to burn the DeSpecialized version what Burner do you recommend? Also what software shoudl I use? I currently have a Mac, is it easier on a PC?

After being beaten and battered by prequel hate, I promise not to be that to the next generation.

Does anyone have recommendations for a burner that will work with Windows vista (don’t hate me, it’s what I’m stuck with) and can burn 50Gb dual layer discs?

Oh and it needs to be external with USB connection…

I have had good experience with a Pioneer BDR-XD05S drive

Here’s the manufacturer’s website.

And if you click “Specs” at the bottom of the page, then “Other Specifications” (the 5th of 6 options) at the left, it takes you to a graph labeled as such. In the lower right box of the graph, it lists Windows Vista as a supported operating system.

Do you have any USB 3.0 ports? If not, you may need to have two USB 2.0 ports available. You can look at some of the specifics on page 9 of the manual.

The NJVC Custom Bluray Set of Harmy’s Despecialized Editions is available on Mega.

I have one of the Pioneers and looking to sell at a substantial markdown. Great drive, Blu Ray just fine, doesn’t do 4K UHD Blu Ray which is what I was hoping for.
