Is anyone interested in part 9 at all at this point?

No. A very vocal minority on the internet doesn’t like the film so naturally there’s no demand for it anymore. I’m awaiting the announcement that Disney canceled it any day now.

Well Yoda hit Luke on the forhead with his cane in TLJ signifying that force ghosts are some sort of physical beings, so Luke could come back and influence anything now…

I honestly could care less about episode IX. Rey’s character/story is the only pary I’m mildly interested in. I wish they kept Rogue One’s characters alive. I would rather of seen their alternate view to the OT. That’s what made Shadows of the Empire so intriguing.

Good point Dig.

And as that cane was real, then it’s possible for ‘Forceghost’ Luke to wield an actual lightsaber come Episode IX…so there’s nothing to stop him kicking ass with it either. And it’s possible for his sidekick Yoda to be able to do the same in that case…so we could get TWO green lightsabers taking on the bad 'uns if J.J. wishes it…

However, it’s more likely we’ll just get a brief ‘cameo’ of Luke giving a few ‘words of encouragement’ to Rey in the next instalment. 😉

That was an honest question. You feel free to give your money to whomever you choose.

No it wasn’t.

No it wasn’t.

How can you realistically be excited or interested in seeing the continuation of this storyline? Im not talking about the Anthology films. Those can potentially work. Solo does not(for me) I’m talking about episode 9 specifically. Its just rehashed stories, playing with old toys just to get your money. And not creating real characters just themes and ideas that go nowhere with certain parts specifically made with theme park rides and toys in mind. You can juggle that many balls but you cant create or sustain thoughtful characters? There is no real love or heart put into making these stories work. Its an assembly line of product. There to make money first and quality second. You enjoy that.

I will, but you don’t have to pretend your snarky questions that aim to poke fun at anybody who doesn’t hate them are sincere. And I’d certainly rather watch TLJ than continue conversing with you. Byezies.
