have you scanned them yet? Because I was told once that you should scan at 600dpi. Then after the image has been scanned, to change the dpi to 300. That way it's slightly better than scanning them in at 300dpi. Also, are you scanning directly to jpg? Or will you scan to .bmp/.tiff? In any case, couldn't you get someone to upload a torrent of the scans? Although... that's probably not best (copyright stuff). Sorry but I can't offer webspace.
