How old is Padme supposed to be in TPM? I guess Portman was about sixteen while filming but I always interpreted her character to be about 20 at least since she’s the Queen of an entire planet, but if that’s the case then she didn’t age at all in the decade between TPM and AOTC. Plus that makes it all the creepier that she’s romancing an eight-year-old.
