Myspleen aren’t currently giving out invites / Can I have a Myspleen invite / Myspleen requests etc…

Myspleen (a private torrent site) are not currently issuing invites to their site - and haven’t done so for some time.
 

No-one here is affiliated with Myspleen, we have nothing to do with Myspleen, we are as much in the dark about this as you - and so we cannot help you with invites or other info.

So please ** DO NOT MAKE A POST ASKING FOR A MYSPLEEN INVITE ** - thank you (we’ve already had hundreds of posts about this - and members’ patience on here is understandably wearing thin).

Any invite requests posted in threads on here will be deleted.

Again, do not ask for help re forgotten passwords or account info on here - we have nothing to do with the running of Myspleen - and so cannot help you.

It may be worth be trying some of the public torrent sites - and also private torrent sites too - for trying to find an elusive Fan Edit or Project etc. Online search engines are useful for this.

Some projects also have their own websites or youtube, twitter, and facebook pages etc - so it’s worth checking those too.

The reason why MySpleen closed its doors? Probably due to the ‘leeches’… those who turn up and only look to take and then disappear, and only returning to take more. Those who don’t look to participate in the community, or even leave thanks, feedback, or reviews for projects they are acquiring etc. Probably also due to the more ‘entitled’ type of person joining up… not even bothering to read up on the Site Rules or look around to see how things work… before posting demands and requests, disrupting conversations with more demands and requests, and asking inane / oft-repeated questions already answered because they don’t want to read through a thread or even look around… and openly not caring about the disruption and issues they were causing (to the point of being insulting and aggressive to both other members and site staff).

MySpleen site staff made many attempts to try and address those issues; encouragement to join in with the community, clearer rules, requests on behaviour and standards, other statements, issued vouched invites, etc, etc. In the end it seemingly got so bad they simply closed the doors on all newcomers (with the exceptional case being made for those with a good reputation of looking to share elsewhere?).

Unfortunately this place over the last few years has become something of a mirror to what occurred over on MySpleen - with entitled and insulting newbies mistakenly thinking this is a free download site - and not a fan project community. posting up ‘link request’ demands not even looking or attempting to join in with the community here - their post history reading as merely a list of ‘link request’ or ‘link demand’ posts. Yet also becoming increasingly hostile and aggressive when asked to participate more, or pointed to how things work on here, or challenged on their behaviour - or even simply at being pointed to ‘Site Rules’ and ‘How Do I Do This On Here?’.
