Yeah , I get ya , the hunt and interesting places are what it is all about !I have the entire run of the original Marvel Star Wars series that I bought between 1989 and 1994 . The two places I visited most to find them was a comic shop called Friendly Franks (long closed now ) which was owned by an old hippie like dude and had all kinds of rare back issues and magazines like Famous Monsters Of Film Land as well as Starlog and a lot of independent comics . The other place was called Sandlings Books and Bindery which was a used bookstore with a comics section in the back and it was owned by a Civil War buff who had a lot of Union memorabilia on display . That store is also long closed .I tend to visit thrift stores, library sales and antique stores now.
