I chose Princess Monoke since I liked Nausicaa so much... I've watched part of it and so far it's... weird.

The idyllic rural Japan setting is a strange conquest to the gore, especially when Ashitaka maims and decapitates the Samurai with his arrows.

Also, what is with that talking boar that the worms ate at the begginning? That was... also odd.
