Alright guys, I have a confession, I’ve been working on my prequel edits for nearly 4 years. I haven’t been active on the forums very much but I am slowly but surely chugging along in my edits, but I am faced with an obstacle. Over the years I have brainstormed, edited, brainstormed, re-edited, re-edited, and re-re-edited my prequel edits. I’ve been getting better and better and I believe I’m excelling in my technical ability to change scenes, mix audio, and make some pretty radical story decisions. My problem, however, is that I’m not talented or skilled or well equipped in the area of special effects, so I humbly come here to ask for your guys’ help.

Anyone with basic rotoscoping abilities/software would be of great help, I mostly need to remove certain characters from a handful of shots along with other little changes. I have masks for most of the backgrounds that I wish to alter as well as a TON of obscure visual sources such as videos, behind the scenes images, and even 360-degree on-set photos.

I will be on here frequently as of now and I will be posting whatever shots I need done, I will supply any help I can with these works and anyone who chips in will be highly credited as part of the project. Soon I’ll be posting exactly what kinds of shots and scenes that I need help with down below.

Also, since my thread hasn’t gotten much attention in a while now, be sure to check out my thread, I have some pretty abstract changes in my version: https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Smithers-Star-Wars-2-part-Prequel-Fanedits/id/17329/page/1
