Did you try to demux your 3D BR with eac3to (eac3to x:\path\movie.mpls -demux) ?
I had a similar post earlier, but I have done some research and it seems that what I need is the left eye encode of the 3D Blu Ray to play it in 2d. Is there any way that I can rip the left eye encode from a 3D Blu Ray?
Thanks

Nope, I’ll try that as soon as I have access to my 3D Blu Ray drive, thanks!

The Left eye view is stored as a regular AVC h264 stream. You should be able to demux and use that stream as is. The right eye stream is a dependent view encoded using MVC and will have a much smaller file size. It can be discarded after demuxing.
