Idea: Editing out helmet-less clones in AOTC and ROTS

Is there any conceivable way to edit out any helmet-less clones in AOTC and ROTS and still have an intact story? Every time I see them it irritates me. A clone army shouldn’t all be clones of a single person.

Whoops on that last post. I'll have to get use to these forums.

Anyway, what makes you think a clone army wouldn't all be from the same source? Or rather, why couldn't it be?

Reminds me of a conversation I had the other day. (OK, not really. But stay with me.)
"Hey, is there any conveivable way you can edit out the lightsabers in the OT? Those laser swords are just plain silly. Jedi should fight with ninja stars."

My first question to you is, why would you want to change such a huge plot point in the prequels? Sure we've got people like MagnoliaFan making their own edits of the prequels, but really, something like that seems a bit too far fetched.

Yes, it's probably possible to do something like that with an emmense amount of digital editing and patience. But is anyone ever going to try that? Probably not.

Well, you could edit it so Jango Fett doesn't exist. Obi Wan goes to Kamino for reasons I don't know, and then finds that an army has been made, using only the video of the Clones with helmets on. Then remove the Jango Fett death scene and simply have him standing in the background like Boba Fett in ANH:SE. Thus, Boba Fett's character is preserved and the idea of Stormtroopers is preserved.

I like it the way it is, but some people may want it this way.

I figured that Jango was the original source for the clones. When he was killed, it became necessary to find other sources for genetic material.

If you wish to believe that, or if you wish to believe the OT stormtroopers were a copy of a copy, then both would support why the OT stormtroopers are pretty inefficient fighters while the PT stormtroopers were pretty bad-ass.

Or, the third option is to go with what Lucas has actually stated: That the OT stormtroopers were a mixture of clones and regular folk. This supports the vision created in "TROOPS" that people would just go down to the local recruitment center and sign up.

If you're into the EU, then you definitely know that clones came from sources other than Kamino, and could be grown in months, not years.

See I never understood that, why does he need to be alive to make more clones?

They have his DNA, thats all they need.

I remember he said that he would include a scene in ESB where Fett has his helmet off in the Slave 1.
With a Temurra Morrison head with a scar on his face.
"A Jedi can feel the force flow through him".
