A girl I was dating once had a kid with some other guy a few years after we broke up and that was a weird feeling at the time.

Yeah, that is a weird feeling. I was just glad the kid wasn’t mine.

As far as you know. 😉

Unless she was pregnant for four and a half years, it definitely wasn’t. The kid also looks part black.

I’ve kinda fallen off the wagon the last week or so. Nothing too bad, usually just literally one or two drinks a day, which isn’t really a problem and is practically nothing compared to the past of having 3 or 4 drinks before even going to work. But I should still probably get back on or at least force myself to start limiting it to a couple times a week. But the thing is I don’t want to. I’m miserable, it’s the only thing that helps, and I don’t care about myself anyway.

Here are the ways to help yourself: get therapy, ask a friend or family member for advice, get a dog or something so you will have to take care of something besides yourself and go to aa.

Man, dunno if you’re a dog person or not, but I love that advice. Petting a dog is a great de-stressor as well.

I haz cat already. She is wonderful. She’s actually very sweet and loving, not your typical dick-cat.

What if you don’t like therapists, don’t like your friends or family, and are allergic to dogs?

I don’t mind therapists, I love my friends intensely, and I’m not allergic to dogs and I have a great cat. I think I will just stop again at least for a while. It’s still at the point where it wouldn’t be hard. I don’t feel like I need it when I’m sober, I’m just drinking because it’s there. I think once I run out it won’t be any problem I just won’t buy any more. Or maybe just buy beer and just drink a couple beers in the evening time and stay away from the hard stuff.

You need to talk to a therapist or doctor. It won’t just go away on its own.

Good to see you’re back, Handman. Too bad it’s under such sad circumstances. I wish you all the best, and I agree that you might want to go see a doctor. I’m sorry I don’t have anything else to say to you, I just don’t know how to help you. Good luck friend.

They are.

“Monkey” used to be a catch-all 80 years ago, which is why Curious George is called a “monkey” when he has no tail. But in modern language, monkeys have tails, and apes do not.
