The puppet Yoda simply can't match the movement of the CG Yoda in terms of the choreography of the lightsaber duels. There, I said it again, just in case you missed it the first time. I'm not even saying that they didn't do a good job on CG Yoda. He's pretty convincing. But in terms of simply looking like something that actually exists... you can't beat something that actually exists. That's my opinion, and I respect it. Geez, you didn't go off on Jedikev like that.
sry i yeah i missed that, or rather misinterpreted it. i thought you were one of those people that hated seeing him fight. but like i said he is as convincing if not more convincing to being a living organism then the puppet yoda, and ill say it again that is coming from someone who's career is going to be doing things with living organisms. i am not saying the puppet yoda is bad but what i all comes down to is eyes, for the first time in all of SW they got the eye right. the next best set if eyes was in the ESB yoda, however the fact htat the pupples do not move nor do the dialate and so on just detract. thats being picky but thats the truth you'll find that that is the difference between things that look alive and those that dont. its the only thing that the CG yoda has on the ESB yoda, asides being able to jump around but its enough to make a huge difference. also the motion is alot more beleivable CG yoda is fluid where as the ESB yoda is up and down. again nto saying the ESB yoda is bad, he is great, i love him but interms of looking like someting that living and alive there are aspects that do detract.
