"The Making of Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition"
This VHS tape, “The Making of Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition” is included with the special edition collectors box set — Does it contain this ~30 min doc about the special edition changes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzApL8nUyT0) Is the video content also available in 3 separate parts on the laserdisc releases of the special editions?

Or is it just the original “Making of Star Wars” documentary? that’s available in the Complete Saga 9-disc blu-ray set (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSuDjjlIPak)

It is the original 49-minute version of Making of Star Wars, but with a different narrator, Don LaFontaine.

There’s also a 33-minute version out there with the original narrator, William Conrad, that cuts out a lot of the C3PO and R2D2 scenes.

But I don’t know where the 33-minute version came from. Is that the one on The Complete Saga Blu Ray?

I’ve only seen this special with the Fontaine audio. (On that Faces set tie-in vhs.) I know there’s a version on YouTube with a different narator. Any reason it was redone? Mono/stereo maybe?
