Most disappointing

way too similar story-wise to the original trilogy
The Last Jedi completely negates many story points from the previous movie(s)
chaos behind the scenes (dumping George as the “executive consultant” and ignoring his planned stories, constant dumping of directors, even if they shot already the almost complete movie etc.)
no explanations (after 2 movies I have no clue who the resistance is and who the new order are)
no likeable new characters, in TFA I really liked Rey and Finn, but I honestly don’t like them in TLJ.

Most satisfying

the look. After seeing a trilogy filled with green screen footage poorly composited over CGI backgrounds it was a PLEASURE to watch real sets, real locations, real props etc.
a nice combination of practical and CGI effects - I was pleasantly surprised by the fact they used a puppet Yoda
cinematography - TLJ is IMHO the most beautiful looking Star Wars movie
