For inserting Paige, in the deleted scene where her gun jams, there’s a few reaction shots of just her in the cockpit. I think that that could be a replacement for cutaways to X-Wing cockpits. Instead of cutting to a no-name extra saying “We got company” or some such, it could be a cutaway to Paige in the cockpit.
