That part is not the issue, it would be all the scenes before that would be difficult. When the crew is caught, betrayed, etc.
Ok this makes more sense. My proposal is simply to remove the fight. I haven’t even touched trying to remove her entirely which I agree is pretty difficult.
Totally understand where you are coming from, I was definitely not directing the criticism directly at you … just thinking of the whole thing with Phasma. I think most people here agree to try and get rid of her since it was pretty pointless in the original edit to bring her back.
Granted, it would even add more to the pointlessness to have her there during the capture, betrayal and execution scene and then have her “killed off” from the explosion with the other troops.
If it can be done in a polished way to completely remove her, that would be wonderful!
