I hate Trump, but LBJ was worse.

Many of those were programs JFK wanted to get through but never got the chance to,
But Johnson had more legislative experience, which greatly increased the chances of them passing.
and lest we forget:
Trump may be an idiot, but he hasn’t knowingly lied about a foreign offensive that never took place so he could send thousands of the nation’s young men to die for a war they never asked for.
True, which is why should evaluate him as a complex man that can’t be deemed either universally good or universally bad. At least Johnson had domestic achievements (even though some were undercut by the war). Trump doesn’t have any good domestic or foreign achievements.
