The thing I enjoy most about TLJ is just how many ways there are to interpret the decisions of characters and how they interact. TFA and Rogue One felt extremely plot focused and there was a large consensus of what to cut, which boiled down to some jokes and the Rathtar scene, (with the exception of Hal’s excellent Restructured edit, which felt outside the box). With TLJ, there’s a ton going on and tons of ways to completely change entire subplots and characters. It’ll be super interesting to see where edits take this movie.
