This is the single worst piece of advice I’ve heard anyone give.
Presumably at home you don’t have to listen to some disgusting slob chomp on popcorn right next to your ear while the disgusting sick person snorts snot back up her nose in your other ear while screaming kids’ cries fill the theatre because their disgusting parents couldn’t be bothered to pay a babysitter twenty bucks instead of bringing them to the theater. And then the film will come off the real. What a great experience to spend fifty dollars on.
I will never as long as I live understand the appeal of movie theaters.
