Watched the deleted scenes. When people described the 3rd lesson scene, they made it seem cruel. I actually think it should have been left in. It was tense, then funny, had more R2 and Chewie in it and the ending was good towards showing Luke he was wrong for cutting himself off from everything.

Also, I know no one wants to rehash the Rey Nobody thing but I didn’t catch until this viewing that Snoke implies that not only did he create the connection between Rey and Kylo, but he planted the visions they saw when they touched. The one of Kylo turning was to get Rey to believe she could come to his ship and turn Kylo. I don’t know the reasoning behind giving Kylo the vision of Rey’s parents.

I may be wrong on that part but after this viewing, that’s how I took it. Both believe what they saw is true but it was just a manipulation by Snoke.
