I can’t remember but It feels like a cut there. After somone said it and I read it and checked it his death does feel like a small shot was cut though it is probably what 2 seconds or 1 second. It’s a rumour but i can sort of see it or feel it.

Anyway this link here.

The scrap book scene sctually sounds better than the ending hospital scene.

That link you posted also refers to Danny having one of his “Episodes” in the bath.

EDIT.

FOUND THE LINK FOR HALORAN RUMOUR.

I think what this article infers is that there was a 154 minute work print. As it claims 8 minutes were deleted from US longer version. And then a further 2 minutes after initial release. that is how I am interpreting it. And going by the list of scenes we have I think that it sounds about right around the 10 minute mark.

also from the 1st original cut.

Early releases featured end credits in the same blue as in the opening titles, instead of the white credits seen today.

The opening Warner Bros. logo was originally a red background with a black television-shaped box in the center, with three white lines meant to represent a “W.” For later releases, this was replaced with the traditional Warner Bros. shield. (Saul Bass)
