Back in 1992-1993, I watched on TV this story about a short, bald, aging, Archie Bunker-looking guy who was being pursued by Death. At some point in the story, Death’s scythe left a scratch on the guy’s face. Death was an articulated skeleton in a black, hooded robe, not an actor in makeup. I think it was from a horror anthology series, but it might’ve been from a movie. I remember it distinctly, 'cause it was my first exposure to the popular portrayal of Death as a scythe-wielding skeleton.
