Yes, I know. I’m saying that the actual math (i.e. fractions) is irrelevant when applied to a movie rating.

I do understand your logic now though. When the lowest increment is 1, the exact center would not actually be two.

Yes. That’s why if you include zero, then the halfway point would be two.

I thought Tobar’s post, which you quoted, explained it quite clearly.
